Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Recruitment Registration
In line with NCS statutory mandate to strengthen manpower capacity and enhance service delivery, a total of 3927 vacancies were declared across the Superintendent, Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres. To this note, Nigeria Customs Service has announced commencement of an ongoing recruitment exercise from 27th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025 to fill up these vacant positions via their official X page. Qualifications needed for NCS Recruitment Positions
- Customs Superintendent Cadre: BSc, HND or equivalent
- Customs Inspector Cadre (General duty and support staff/professional): OND, NCE or equivalent
- Customs Assistant Cadre (General duty and support staff/professional): O’Level, Trade Test Certificate or Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity approved proficiency certificates

Basic Requirements for NCS Qualified Candidates
To be recruited into the Nigeria Custom Service, applicants must meet these essential requirements:

- Nigerian citizen by birth, possess a National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
- Hold at least four passes (including English Language and Mathematics) in WASSCE and NECO obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Be aged 18–28 years
- Applicants must not be less than 1.67 metres and 1.64 metres tall for men and women respectively.
- Applicants must be free from any financial embarrassment and not convicted of any criminal offence.
- Applicants must not be member of any secret society, cult or drug addict.
